Hi again. It is Sept. 3rd and I just saw my surgeon on the 31st. I am just over 6mos out now.
Well all my blood work came back normal - woohoo. Dr. Quaid was so pleased with my progress saying I was way ahead of the curve and out did what they had expected I would get from this surgery. Now I didn't have  as much weight to lose as many who seek this kind of surgery but my BMI was 38 and i was about 60-80 lbs overweight. I leave a 20 lb range there because I thought I was going to lose about 80lbs but the Dr. and nurses say 60. And I am there. I have lost 62 lbs. I feel great - everyone says I look good. I went from a size 2x to a size 8/10... But I still feel kind of fat. Wonder if it will just take a while for me to get used to a new body??  
This was so worth it.
