Surgery Didnt actually work out as planned on 3/13/12

SO I know that it has taken me forever to actually update my blogs here but when I went in for surgery on 3/13/12 my gallbladder ended up rupturing on the table so my surgeon had to make sure that all the fluids from that were cleaned out of my stomach in which it actually took him nearly 2 1/2 hours to make sure that was all cleaned up and good, I have to say that my surgeon is an awesome one and did what was best for me, he said that he didnt want to keep me under any longer and that is why I will be having my RNY surgery on 6/26/12. At first when I was in the recovery room and he told me that he wasnt able to do my RNY surgery I was devestated and didnt truely know what to think even when I went home for a few days I would say I was a bit upset and even a little depressed because I had waited so long to get the surgery and BAM something prevented me from getting it. I even was having thought such as "maybe this is someones way of telling me that I shouldnt get the surgery" other crazy thoughts also crossed my mind! After about a week or so I started coming to the conclusion that it was just a roadblock and it is now out of the way, noone is telling me that I shouldnt get it because it is up to ME to change my life and I was going to proceed and have the RNY surgery so my surgery is now scheduled for 6/26/12 @ 7:30 am :)
