Hey yall,This morning I posted that my medical records were sent to my insurance for approval, well SHUT THE FRONT DOOR, because Christa called this afternoon telling me I was APPROVED FOR MY PROCEDURE! I can't believe it; I meet with my surgeon on Tuesday to schedule my procedure and review my results. My older sister reacted mildly considering today was the first time I mentioned it to her. My younger sister was like, "you gonna be skinny minnie", I love her so much:-) My close co-workers that I shared the news with were excited. I am not telling my mom, because her motherly advice will seriously kill my somewhat joyous mood. I know she worries about me, but no amount of literature, support groups, videos, before & after photos will make my mom understand why I am having WLS. The best thing I can do is to become/remain healthy so any negative thoughts she has, will be quickly diminished.
So it's on and poppin
