"Down to" a fifty inch waist!

People outside of our community may be a bit shocked.  "He says he's 'down to' a fifty inch waist? He's proud of that?"  Yes I am.  Because when I began this journey... I was wearing slacks with a 72 inch waist. And those were getting tight. I was wearing a 9XL shirt.  Today, I put on a 2X shirt.  And it fit!

I'm grateful for all the information from you on this board. Especially for the idea of shopping for clothes at a thrift store

I bought two shirts, and two pairs of blue jeans for just six bucks.  And they fit!
