1 Month & 3 Days out 8-15-10

Aug 16, 2010

I am 1 month & 3 days out, since surgery I have lost about 30 lbs. & since I started this whole process I have lost 48 lbs. I think that's pretty good, I need to exercise & walk a lot more & I  need to use by weights for my arms. I was wearing a very tight 20W in pants & at least a 3x shirt (sometimes bigger) I can't believe for know more than I've lost I'm in a size 16 pants & 1x some XL shirt. I'm wearing clothes I haven't being able to wear in 4 or 5 years. I have sizes 12 through 20w & a few 22w in my closet, I wouldn't get rid of my smaller clothes, I was praying I would be able to wear them again one day. I feel so much better already, I have more energy (I have even been cleaning house more & have tackled cleaning the basement with help from my hubby & son. Believe me I still get tired but nothing like I did I know it will only get better. I think maybe I do to much some days ( like lifting stuff) because my tummy is still a little tender & when I over do it I hurt in my sides a little. Then I think it's only been about 30 days or so that I had surgery so the next day I let the men of the house do all the hard  stuff. I'm still throwing up some due to not slowing down enough or chewing enough, I also think that when something just doesn't agree with my tummy I get sick. Tonight I didn't think I ate to much but my tummy is cramping & I can't throw up or poop. I ate a tiny bit of boiled cabbage & I kinda think a lot of it is gas. It's starting to feel a little better. I'm also wanting to know what ya'll take for headache or just plain old aches & pain ? My surg. said don't take my mobic or any arthritis med. I'm almost sure he said no Tylenol. My back was hurting so bad Sun. morning because of lifting things in the basement I usually take robaxim (muscle relaxer) but I was afraid to so I didn't I hurt all day. Any suggestions on that?? Thanks for listen I'll post later.
