One Month Dr. Visit....

Well today is exactly one month out from my surgery to the day.  I had an appointment with Dr. Ben Meir and my dietician today.  It went very well.  Dr, gave me the clearance to workout more.  Ride a bike, excetra....said I am doing very well.  He also said that I lost 18% of my expected weight loss, so that made me feel so good about myself.  That Im actually doing things the right way.  Just knowing that I eat so much less, is such a wonderful relief.  But at times, that can be a bad thing too, since Im always reminding myself to drink something or eat something.  So like I said before, its a journey!!  But hopefully a very helpful experience at the same time.  I went yesterday to our church festival here in town.  I havent went in years...I ended up running into a dear friend.  Who couldnt believe her eyes, when she saw me.  She told me, Wow you look awesome!!   That was such a great feeling!!
