Merry Christmas OH !!

Well today was a wonderful day as expected. My children had priceless smiles on their faces (especially my daughter who wanted a real gituar), and that was my great gift from them. They have not mastered saving money to buy me a gift yet. The day was fun, busy and full of excitement and now, I rest alone, listening to my smooth jazz. It is my reward for the day and for all that I do. I cooked the hell out in the kitchen today for my family. I tasted a tiny bit of what was my favorite things, I only drank water. I am proud of myself today. Even though I only made a sampler saucer, I realized today the small changes that I have made to my eating habits are working for me, alittle at a time. Slow and steady wins the race. I will continue on this pace until I am finally approved. Today I realized that my eyes are no longer bigger than my stomach. Meaning my eyes see that I can eat more then my stomach can hold. I am not just training my stomach to accept smaller amounts, but I am also victoriously training my eyes to see smaller amount when making my plate. And to top it off, even that was too much for me in one sitting. This is good for me. That along with my new YMCA membership, things are moving along. I can feel it in the air, soon I will here, "we are calling to give you your date  for surgery". My starting weight was 310 and I am now at 286, I am getting there at my own pace......
