Sick but some Angels made me feel better

I really hate ear infections! I just had to go out and get two of them this week, I guess there was a sale. We planned for alot when we found out my husband was offered a new (and better) job because of the 90 day lapse of insurance, but we didn't plan for this. I found the most awesome people here in Martinsburg. Every Wednesday at 5:30pm they host a Good Samaritan Clinic and even tho we didn't find out till 7pm about it they waited for us to find them during a hail storm just to see me. Then they gave me free antibiotics! I am so seeing if they need volunteers because they ROCK! Because of them I am already feeling better and able to go out and get things done without feeling like my ears are being stabbed with an icepick. I can hear again!

I want to do some experimental cooking this weekend. Protein bars, maybe some mini protein donuts, I'm not sure what yet. The protein pancakes I made and froze turned out awesome, I even shared some with my family. The Chocolate hazelnut with peanut butter spread on it was amazing!

I'm down almost 130 pounds and cant believe it sometimes when I try new clothes on. I was going through one of my drawers today and found in the back of it a belt I haven't been able to wear for close to five years. When I put it on the tightest setting it had was soooo lose. I have to get Wulf to add holes to it. I will get someone to take a picture of me with it later tonight when someone gets home. One of my funky denim shirts I wore only twice because it was tight and now it is a little roomy. I am getting used to the new me, definitely more comfortable. I can do things I couldn't just last year. Rachael says she is glad that when the zombies come I will not have to be left behind as bait, we have some annoying neighbors we will use for that now. HEHE!
