For all the smack I talk...

May 26, 2010

For all the smack I talk about the band I sure can see and feel a difference now that my fill is all gone! I don't know if its because I've been deprived for so long or for fear of the upcoming deprivation once I get another fill but whatever it is I am eating up a storm and cant stop! Its easy to see how I gained so much weight thats for sure! Until I was not able to eat as much I never thought I was eating a lot but its plain to see now. My fill is June 16th I can't wait but its like I want to sample everything I been missing the last 15 months. I am up according to my home scale..its says 18 pounds I know some of that is sodium because I been eating out a lot and my clothing is not getting 20 pounds tighter but there a significant gain regardless even if it 10 or 15 pounds per the Doc's scale!

Everyday I try to start fresh and hit a brick wall of temptation. Its unreal and its one thing if you are tempted and then can't eat soemthing or get sick but for the most part I am full steam ahead. Pizza, popcorn, sushi, fried chicken wings, ice cream, cupcakes, etc. etc. This freedom is scary! Although I do still think the band is a lot of work... it does a good bit of work too. I been missing in action from my trainer going back this weekend and my goal is to get back on my path and use Weigth Watchers fully and the gym and not beat myself up. Some weight gain after a band being too tight to eat except 5 hours a day is to be expected. Just need to put the brakes on it. I would like to be back down to 200 by the 16th so I am moving ahead knowing I can do this!

Ohhh in dating news I met this guy not sure if I spoke about him yet but he's really nice, funny, we get along he actually had gastric bypass surgery 5 years ago lost 80 pounds then regianed some. He's trying to lose 50 pounds I told him about Weight Watchers and my personal trainer and he said he should look into it. I am goign to ask about WW this weekend. I think ti would work for him. He said he looked into the surgery that re-shrinks your stomach but it costs $9,000 and insurance doesn't pay. I told him I know people who had the band over bypass. Anyway we will see. He;s verys weet though and I like him.
