Insurance Update

I talked with the insurance company yesterday. Two reasons they denied the surgery - 1) they need six visits and the dr only submitted 3, and 2) my health plan only allows this surgery at one of their so-called Centers of Excellence and by one of the COE doctors!  So I can't even go to the dr I was planning to go to!

I called the COE today to get an appt and the recorded message said they wouldn't even see you unless your primary dr sends a referral with your records of a complete physical, and THEN they will send you a questionnaire to fill out and send before they even decide to see you!  Ain't that the ish.............Anyway, for the moment I will wait for the UHC case mgr to contact me in hopes she has some super secret way of pushing this forward.
