Hello everyone. Leslie has lost t 44lbs. Has gone down about 2 sizes. She is doing well. she's still not ready to tell her own story though.

I am happy to say that my baby sister is back to work and doing very well. She's practically back to her old self again. I must say, I have enjoyed her while she's been here. She has been a great help to me. I'll miss her when she returns home. ( but don't tell her or she may never leave.) I really think she realizes she made the right choices. Her clothes tell it all. Everything is hanging off of her. I love her dearly and am glad she's doing so well.

At 6 weeks Post-op Leslie is now 236 pounds, a loss of 38 pounds. She's feeling fine, back to her self again. She has been eating regular food for about 1 1/2 weeks now, she could not stand the pureed food anymore. Has been tolerating everything. She returns to work on Monday.

Hi Leslie! WLS is a journey that is both complex and simple. We do it for the simplest reasons and reasons that are so complex that others often fail to understand. Remember one thing, though. You would not be going through this if God did not have a plan. I beleive you will get through this hard time and you will be able to help others who have similar experiences. Have faith, Leslie. This too shall pass.

Today Leslie is 4 weeks post-op. She is doing well. She is getting back to routine, somewhat. She has lost another 4 lbs, a total of 31 lbs. She is missing food more and more, meaning food she can chew. The pureed thing gets a little old after 2 weeks. Only 2 more weeks and then hoplefully she can have food she is able to chew. She's still not ready start walking yet.
