5 days post op!

I can't believe it's been almost a week since my surgery. The recovery has been good, although I ate a SF popcicle too fast my first night home and threw it up.  I was surprised I only spent a night in the hospital but I guess I can chalk it up to being determined and young. I remember waking up, screaming in pain when I was in the recovery room. The nurses were quick to remedy that though. I also remember walking back to the OR with a nurse and being freaked out by all the monitors and fancy eqiupment. The nurse asked me if I had taken any trips recently and put what she told me was an "oxygen" mask on me and before I could finish the phrase "Disney World" I was out.
The drain is serving it's purpose but it's annoying. I can't sleep comfortable because I can't sleep on my stomach, just another adjustment to make. As far as food, I'm ready to be done with the clear liquids. I can't wait for the doc to say I can graduate to the next level.
