I Got "the" Call

 I am now scheduled for RNY on Tuesday, August 16.

 I am so scared I could faint and so excited I could faint.  

We talked about the anxiety and they are going to put me on xanax 2x a day for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the surgery.  The nurse said she would talk to Dr. Friedman and they would come up with a way to stress to the anesthesia team how important it is that my anxiety and claustrophobia are taken care of so I don't have a panic attack.  They are really great in Dr. Friedman's office... especially to put up with me 

Talked to J, my counselor, today and he will be in town when my surgery comes up. He wrote down my surgery date and all in his dayplanner.  My sister will be back to work so I don't know if she will be able to stay overnight with me my first night or not - but if she can't a good friend said she would. Actually another friend volunteered a while back, but I am not sure she is the right person to have around if I don't feel good - she tends to make my eyes glaze over NOW  lol.


Wow.

 In other news, I weighed this morning and was down to 311.  I'm not TOO excited because yesterday I took my Lasix, but even figuring 5lbs water weight that puts me at 316 - down from 322 the day I met with the trainer.  AND I was able to wear a pair of JEANS. 28s. Stretchy. But jeans.  First time in about 4 years.

 Oh geez.

I have to clean my house. get my kitchen organized. I don't cook now so my counters have all kinds of stuff on them.
