too nice

I have always been too nice and just accept things as they were because I was fat and should be happy with whatever I could get.. I was surpose to have my first consult next week. I recieved a call yesterday to cancel the appointment and rescheduled for a month away. Such a dissappointment. I was very upset until some friends of mine reminded me that at least I do have an appointment. Some people dont even get to have that. They also tole me to utilze my time to get my testing done. So that is what I am working on for this month. I have to stop dwelling on the negative and use it in a positive way. I would have to have the test done anyways so why wait!!!! I have an appoinment Monday with my PCP to kindly deman the test since he kindly refused one of the test last time I ASKED for it. lol Guess I just need to be a little more pushy. Just not rude unless he refuses again.
