My first bump in the road...

November 3rd was the first day of my first obstacle since I had surgery.  For a week I suffered with abdominal pains.. intense pains and after several visits to the emergency.. I had to e admitted and had to have emergency surgery.  It turns out that my intestines were badly twisted ..I had an internal hernia and some fluid build... it was fixed laparoscopicly and I am on the mend.  SO I just wanted to post because it is very important that we advocate for ourselves.  I went to emergency 3x before I finally got the help I needed.   Don't blow it off if you are feeling pain and don't stop seeking assistance.  I am still loving my RNY....
