Another race under my belt

Ran the AIDS Walk 5K this morning. Even though it's a USATF certified course, they won't have the official results posted for a couple days :( but according to my Garmin, my overall pace was 8:57 min/mile, total of 27:44 time! Seriously did better than I thought I'd do. I gotta give credit to Uncle Ron, b/c I was looking to the heavens towards the end & asked him to give me some strength to finish strong - as much as fundraising has been a challenge for me this past year, I really commit to staying with this every year in his honor. HIV/AIDS will always be my pet issue, because it took away an uncle I never really got to know.
