Sad today :-(

Today I sadly had to say goodbye to one of my best friends, 14 years together and I'll never regret a moment of it. Losing somebody who has been so close to you for 14 years takes a piece of your heart with them. I held you close so you would know I was there and that I wouldn't leave you till the end. I gently kissed your nose and caressed your fur. With tears streaming down my face I whispered to you, What an amazingly good girl you were, How much I would miss you and How much I loved you. Then as you slowly took your last breaths I watched you slip away from me forever and it took everything I had not to beg you to stay but I knew it wouldn't be fair. Every time I remember you, I'll remember that special piece of my heart that you will hold forever and always. Thunder you were the most amazing, most beautiful, kindest, most loyal and the best fur baby ever. I will miss you soooooo much RIP Baby Girl I will love you always and forever !!!!
