When it Rains.. It Pours!

Just like the title says, when it rains it pours. I received the rest of lab work. I am extremely anemic and this has delayed my surgery. The normal range is 27 and mine was 19. I have to start some medication to help with this and then I'm being re-tested in 4-6 weeks and if it's in normal range, I'll be good to go but if it isn't then my doctor and I are going to discuss how to move forward. I'm praying this medication will work because I do NOT want to wait any longer for my surgery. However, I'm not going to worry and get down just yet. I can beat this. This is just a little bump in the road, right?  Have any of you had/have anemia? If you do, please comment or message me. I'd love to talk with someone else who knows about this. Thanks!
