Ok so I have battling this chronic back problem for 6 years and no one can give me an answer. 
When it goes out I can't hardly walk and it hurts trying to breathe, needless to say I am proned to recliner after returning from ER to VICODIN and VALIUM. Ok well here goes this, I switched my PCP almost three years ago when I was prego with my youngest. 
This man has been the world to me...he is so passion about his work and patients. While prego I told him about my back problems in which I was not experiencing at the time. He told me to come back after delivery when back is bothering me, well low and behold I returned and boy did it return, he did an xray no results. Well I have a chiropractor who is my heaven sent as well. They both have been helpful. Well fastforward, so around September of 2009 my chronic back pains arose and has not stopped. I have been throgh therapy and all. Well I get an adjustment every week. Chiropractor did xray nothing unusual besides my hips are offline...hmmm. Anywho, I tell doc he requst xrays to dig deeper,no result. He places me on new meds for pain and muscle relaxer, helping a lil. Did I menion I go for a Torudol shot every 2 weeks for pain. 
Well here we go, he is so concerned for my pain he orders a MRI and wants me to go through this pain clinic. Ok, you're the doc we will see. Yesterday I get a call from Doc office stating they need me to come in Tuesday for the Lower Back Pain Clinic, ok but I ask the nurse could you tell me the results for my MRI. She looks in file and tell me that I don't have a herneated disk(good) 
however, I do have a degenerated S5 and L1..
..what the heaven...So I immediately hang up and call my Chiropractor on his cell and explains the results. Mr. Chiro breaks down what all that mean. Well people here goes...My S5 (lower back) is pressing inward to my belly button and is causing L1(basically tailbone) to point outward.
In laymen term my ASS(sorry) is too big for my back to handle...WTHEEZY. So thsi is what is causing the chronic back pain that basically paralyzes me. Suggested cure from Chiro...intensive therapy, spine adjustments, pain meds & muscle relaxers. But not a quick fixer will take months to a year before I will feel anything. PLus the main thing we all know WEIGHTLOSS...OMG I can't wait to start that journey so I can sit & sleep and dance with my children. Sorry for long post but I was just too thorugh with my diagnoses. ttyl OHI can do all things through Christ who strenghens me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
