1-week post-op

Apr 09, 2013

Welp...I've been sleeved!  Surgery was successful although I had some minor issues with anesthesia, vomitting, my asthma and pain post-op.  Been home for almost a week now and due to not having a scale in the house I have no clue how much weight I have lost.  I can't see/feel my weight loss but my friends and family say they can see it all over me...so I guess that is a good thing.

I haven't had any problems with holding any food or liquids down but I have learned when enough is enough when I'm eating or drinking...my breast bone feels like someone has hit me with a hammer.  Only had to make that mistake 1 time...LOL!

I'm already eating pureed/soft foods so it feels like life is slowly starting to come back together for me...slowly.  I'm no where near 100% as I am still very sore on one side but I can say that I am a success.  Just doing a lot of yesand trying to ensure I get enough protein and liquids in every day (which this is a work in progress in itself).

Thank you to everyone for the thoughts & prayers...I greatly appreciate them!

 Besos!!!
