3 months - No more 300's

Nov 02, 2013

Well I am at 3 months now. It was a pretty uneventful month which is not a bad thing. I feel like a normal person again for the most part.

I did get under 300 pounds so yay to that. I am at 297 right now with an 82 pound loss that includes 25 lost pre-op. I'm not sure if there is an average weight loss in the first 3 months, but I am happy with my 57 pound loss so far.

My first weight loss goal was to get back under 300. I'm extremely happy to have completed that and be able to say I will never see the 300's again.

My next goal is 250 because I graduated from high school at around 268 ish and I'd be happy getting lower than that again. After that I will celebrate 230 because I remember saying that was my weight when I got my drivers license at 16. Then obviously under 200 and anything under than is just going to blow my mind.

I took updated pictures this month but I really can't see enough change to be that excited. I do however notice how big some of my clothes are now. This outfit includes a shirt that was pretty much the only one that fit good at my high weight and still one of my go to shirts because of it's comfort. I clearly need to consider not wearing it in public much longer. The jeans were really tight before surgery and now I can pull them up without unbuttoning and zipping. They also hang off my butt a lot so probably not going to be able to keep them up without a belt soon.
