My first appointment with my surgeon, my NP, and My Dietician..

Well, today was my first of many appointments with my WL Surgeon, Dr. Ross. I was very excited to say the least. I couldn't wait to start my " pre-birthday" activites! I got on the scale and I was at my highest weight EVER..377. Lord, help me is all I could say in my mind. But I kept a strong head and proceeded to go in the room with an open mind. Ashley, my roommate/best friend/co worker/ support person, was right there cheering me on as I asked questions about recovery and when the estimated time would be to return to work. As soon as I seen Dr. Ross, then met my Medical Weight Loss crew (my dietician and dietician) and they explained the next 6 months and what the insurance would look for. I wrote on my Facebook..." No juice, no soda, and no sweet tea...don't these people know that I'm Southern"... But now sitting here drinking my 20 oz water feeling that I can do this. Piece of Cake, right???? I also signed up for membership at the YMCA for aquatics to relieve my back pain. Praying that these 6 months will go by quickly and I will be approved for my gastric. Next appointment to my MWL: 3/11/11...." I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." ~ Phillipians 4:13
