Arthritic Knees

I have severe arthritic knees that require knee replacement surgery.  I cannot walk.  Dr James Cobey is my Dr. The Dr informed me that I must weigh under 450 lbs to have the surgery.  I had lap band surgery in March of 09.  I weighed 615 when I had the surgery, now I weigh 450 - 460 lbs.  I have been accepted for pre-op therapy at the National Rehab Hospital in DC.  If Dr Cobey is unwilling to perform the surgery, does anyone know a Dr who would be willing to refer me to NRH then perform the surgery on both knees once the pre-op therapy has been completed?  I can be reached on 202-257-2870 or [email protected].
