Rebekah, I have not had my surgery yet, but my mother had neck surgery some years ago. She was concerned about tanning also. She was told to use a sun block on the scar, because tanning would only make it darker. Once the color Lightened out of the scar, then she was able to tan normally. Not sure about unexposed areas, though.

Rebakah, I just read u're post, if you are almost 3 wks post-op, I won't be eating sole and Wnedys chili yet...please check with your dtr or Nutrionist first. Don't rush anything and please don't increase your chance of vomiting, good luck to you!
