Angela, I am glad that you are almost out of your rutt. 21lbs gone yahoo!! I know that jobs can be very stressfull, but they don't own you after 5:00. I hate my job and my boss makes it unbearable to come to work every day. I guess we just have to make the best of it. Hi Angela, I am happy to hear you are feeling better. I meet you at the last support meeting, I am the "thinking about surgery" woman in the pink sweater who sat next to you and annoyed you with lots of questions. I do really want to thank you for your time talking to me, it really made me feel better to be sitting talking to someone who had recently had the surgery. I think through your help and that of the others at the meeting, plus my pouring over the web for resources, my fears have been replaced with excitment. I have my first consult w/ Dr. Oakley on Wednesday... I hope you continue to feel better everyday in every way...you have definately been in my thoughts. Laura

Angela, just give it some time to take effect on your life style and you will be able to make it a routen. My Mom is loving life more today than ever. She has lost 50lbs in 4-1/2 weeks and able to do many things that she couldn't do before, like tying her shoes. I believe that you will be able to be happy with your decision in awhile. Angela, you are a wonderful person and I was glad that I was able to meet you in person. Thanks for comming to the yard sale, we made about $700.00 for my Mother. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope for a speedy recovery. You should be "on the table" now and Dr. Oakley is the best so don't worry. My Mom was in surgery for 4hours instead of 2, because she has a fatty inlarged liver, and Dr. Oakley took his time to get around it and she is doing great. Had the surgery 3/8/04 and is down 33lbs. Keep us updated. Suzie-Q
