Hi Erica, I was just looking at some of the profiles on obesityhelp.com your profile connected with me. First, CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss. You truly look WONDERFUL!!!!! Well I had the Lap RNY on 3/27/03 and the day of surgery I weighed in at 341lbs. Well today I'm almost 9 months post-op and have only lost about 65lbs since surgery. I exercise about 4 days a week, I drink over 60oz of water, I get in about 90gms of protein and I take my vitamins every day. I do all of the above but I'm still a very very very slow loser. Because of your success, I just want to know if you can share with me what is a typical day like for you? Hi Erica, you look marvelous. I had Dr. Neil Merymore as my surgeon as we'll. He is the best.My surgery was in BTC in Langhorne, Pa. on 03/03/03,and I started at 385lbs,but left weighing 409lbs. I have lost almost 165lbs thus far. I am wearing size 20's and loving it.Erica one question for you,when did you first start to notice the weight loss. I do get several compliments, but I personally do not see it as of yet. I do see it on you and once again I am very happy for you and I continue to wish you much success. Take care for now. Cathy

Erica, As a person that is having WLS six days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.

Hello Erica, I am wishing your great success as you go through WLS on Tuesday. I too will be having WLS also. Before I am put to sleep I will say a little prayer for the two of us as we go through this great transformation. I will see you on the other side.
