Please join me in wishing Elle a happy happy anniversary! This time one year ago she was in the capable hands of Dr. Emma Patterson, having her BPD/DS at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland Oregon. Elle has been a tremendous support person and source of knowledge for me and many others out here! She was my surgery 'crone' and I could not have had a better team with her and my angel Becca Kauffman. Elle, you are a joy to know and a blessing in my life.. YOU GO GIRL! ~Peace!

**PSEUDO ANGEL UPDATE** I had email today from Elle's daughter, who tells me that she came through the surgery very well. Of course she's sore and tired, but otherwise things are good! The bandaids on her inciscions (this was Lap DS)look like 'an upside down peace symbol'~ or so I'm told. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and comments, I'll be printing Elle's page tomorrow so there is still time! WTG Elle, you're my hero :) ~Peace!

Elle, You're no doubt still in surgery, it's 10:35 AM on 7/30/01. I've said a prayer for you. The next few days will be rough but you'll get through it! Enjoy your new life! Rhia in Vancouver, WA
