Not Sandy's angel but I did have the pleasure of meeting Sandy and her husband today on her first post-op day at Wausau Hospital. I must say that Sandy seemed to be doing awesome. Her spirits were good and she had no complaints. She is very lucky to have a super supportive husband by her side. If you have not signed her surgery page yet please do so because I know that she is excited to log back on to her computer and if she could find lots of loving messages in her email I know that she would be thrilled. Oh, and if you have not checked out Sandy's profile page please do so. She spent her last pre-op jittery hours drafting a wonderful Night Before Surgery poem. I wish I were that talented! Congrats Sandy...you are now a LOSER!!! ~Kelly

Hi Everyone - I went to visit Sandy and her husband today at the hospital. She had her lap surgery with gallbladder removal on Wednesday. First let me say these are two wonderful people - I felt very comfortable meeting them for the first time. Sandy is doing pretty good - she was tired (but thats expected). She had been up to walk already and said she felt okay, they might even let her go home tomorrow (Friday). Let's have everyone continue to send her good wishes for a fast and speedy recovery!
