Vickie - congrats on being on the other side now. As for your rough patch, go easy on yourself, you've just put your body through A LOT and it needs time to heal and recover. You are probably dehydrated and your body needs water. You might want to try drinking decafe tea (Chammomile and peppermint soothe the tummy). Or try sugar free popsicles or eating some watermelon which is high in water content. It will get easier, but it will take a while for you to get to your "ideal" fluid and protein intake levels. Just do your best and keep taking your iron and B12 and vitamins-they definitely help with the energy levels. Good luck and feel free to email me if you have any questions that I can help you with.

Hello everyone. A quick update for an angel on the go. Vickie was released from the hospital yesterday. YAYYYY!!! I din't talk to her, but she called me and left a message that she was home. Hopefully I will talk to her later today. I'm leaving in an hour for a 3 hour drive to Vegas to the airport to take my sister back who was visiting for the hilodays. So, if you're reading this Vickie, that's why I'm not home. LOL Anyway, I hope things are going good and I'll talk to you later.

Angel flying in with an update on Vickie. I called the hospital about an hour or so ago and was surprised when Vickie herself answered the phone!! She was really hoarse from the tube, but she said her surgery was uneventful (thank goodness), and her pain is being managed well. I'm so happy for you sweetie. Congrats and welcome to the losing side!! I will be calling again tomorrow and will post again.
