Becky, Thank you for your reply. My date is getting closer and closer and I am just trying to get everything in order. I have the Option to fly my older Sister out from Oregon, but I don't want to take her away from her family and busy life If I can get around on my own. My Husband will be home the first 4 days, and then my Son and Daughter will be home after School. I am a pretty quick healer, and am pretty healthy. I have only had 2 C sections and had no problems at all with that. I think that I will go ahead and just have Becky( my sisters name) stay back home. Thank you for helping me make this decision. I Hope to update again after my Surgery with positive results. Huggs.. Linda Stouder

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author) FROM MY HEART TO YOU~*~Hugs~*~

Becky, I know what you mean about passing on the gene. My mom, grandma etc. were all overweight and I grew up hearing my dad telling me how men felt about fat women. I got married at 21 and after our first child at 22 I started gaining. We have been married 23 years and fortunately I married a man who loves me for me and is very supportive. I will be having surgery 9/11-but what I wanted to tell you was, my daughter who inherited a double whammy from both sides is 18 and is 200lbs plus. Luckily she did inherit the tall genes too, but her comment to me one day was, "I figure if I ever became really heavy that I would have surgery too." I was devestated. I thought that I had shown her all her life how difficult it was to be heavy and that this was a last resort to health and not a cop-out. How would you answer this? Continue to succeed and keep the faith.
