Bernadette~ Thank you for your support on my surgery page. It certainly means a lot to have others who can understand the life of obesity and support one another. I never thought I would let myself get to where I am and look forward to changing that. God bless you and your sister's children.

Hi Bernie, I'm sending you a little note just to say hello. You always take the time to write to me and encourage me regarding my hernia (which is still bothering me) and I decided to come reread your profile and any updates; it sounds as if you're on the right track! I read what you wrote about being able to put the paper in the printer and how you feel like less of an invalid; isn't it fantastic? I am also able to do little things nowadays, such as tonight I was able to walk pretty fast against the blowing wind, it felt GREAT! For a second there, I thought I was going to be blown away, which would be really rough since I'm still weighing around 205 pounds... LOL Also, I have another girlfriend in Michigan who had the band put in sometime in early December and has now lost 37 pounds. What a great tool!!! God Bless and I also hope and pray the children are well. Hugs, your sis in WLS,

I just wanted to thankyou for the words of encouragement. So you had the AGB also? How much have you lost since August? I know you have to feel better. I am really looking forward to my surgery. Well I hope to hear from you again. Continue on the road to success.
