Well Hunnie...I made it home and I wanted you to know that I was thinking about you. You have been so brave, and that is to be commended. I am so glad we got to take those pictures of all of us after surgery...I can't wait to see them :o) I will continue to pray for your recovery and for you to be able to come home soon. I wish you all my best my new friend :o)

I went up to see Ivorie this evening, she did have a rough day...but things are looking up. She got out of bed and gave me a run for my money. She went down the hall to visit another WLS patient and give her encouragement. She is enjoying her chicken broth and green jello. It was nice to see her smile and laugh. Diana

Spoke with IVorie today. She has been in a lot of pain. She said she has pain in the upper part of her stomach. Her blood pressure was up and so was her tempertature. She said she even cried earlier cause the pain was bad. Yesterday she said she was feeling fine, but today she was feeling awful. She walked five times yesterday but today she hadn't walked. I reminded her of a possibilities of blood clots. This motivated her something fierce..and it wanted her to get up right that moment. I told her she is a trooper and will do fine. Let's keep her in our prayers.

I just spoke to Ivorie, she sounds wonderful. Walked last night at 11 pm for the first time. I am so excited...in all her pain...she just told me that she is going to be my angel when I have my surgery. I love you Ivorie, my new WLS sister. Keep up the good work! Diana

Best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine six months ago, and I have never had a single regret. Fortunately, the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
