Hi Patti, Hope all is well with you. Can you believe it? We are almost 5 months post op. I have lost 103 pounds so far and I have lots more to go!!!!!!! I havent dumoed but I have been sick due to eating too quickly or too much! Trying to be careful, got sick today and havent been sick since January. Hi Patti, you will be in my prayers as you go to surgery on Tues. I am an example of how prayers help to make surgery easier and successful. You are in the hands of the best surgeon. Remember Dr Higa did my surgery last month, no problems, no pain. I feel good and have lost about 30 lbs.

HELLO PATTI, WE ARE NEIGHBORS! I LIVE IN TURLOCK , INFACT MY BEST FRIEND LIVES IN WATERFORD! I AM ALSO HAVING SURGERY BUT MINE IS ON MONDAY 11/13/00 AT SANGER GEN. HOSPITAL ( ABOUT 20 MILES FROM WHERE YOU ARE) MY HUBBYS AUNT HAD DR. HIGA LAST YEAR AND SHE LOVED HIM AND IS DOING GREAT!!! I PREFERRED TO GO TO A SMALLER HOSPITAL AND I ALSO GOT IN A LOT QUICKER WITH MY DR. I RESEARCHED THIS FOR A YEAR AND TALKED TO SEVERAL SURFEONS . DR. HIGA IS ONE OF THE BEST. TOO BAD THEY DONT DO THIS AT MODESTO OR TURLOCK HUH? ANYWAYS I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST. I WROTE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS DOWN SO I CAN EMAIL YOU AFTER RECOVERY. TAKE CARE.

My surgery was 7 weeks ago and I must say it is the best gift I have ever given myself. I have dropped 40 lbs and feel and look much better. I am much healthier and have not had to take any blood pressure medication, nothing for acid reflux or a fluid pill since the surgery. I wish you the very best. Good luck and God Bless you. Hi Patti.. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Don't be nervous.. pain is relative. Breath, breath breath and walk walk walk. It's over before you even realize it and any discomfort you experience will be a faded memory. You are giving yourself the best gift you could give. Nothing to be afraid about when you think of it that way! An exciting, new life awaits you. Best of luck!!
