***ANGEL*** Hello all...sorry that I haven't posted for a couple of days...oops. Anne is doing better. The pneumonia has cleared and the kidneys are working much better. :) Not sure when she will be out of the hospital still, but we are looking on the greener side of things. :) Thanks again for the cards, emails, and everything. All of your support is helping Anne's recovery go that much faster. Anne has run into another little complication...she has developed a small leak at the site where her intestines were sewn together. It had abscessed and gotten a little infected, however with the antibiotics and TLC from the dr's and nurses, that too is going away. :) Hopefully after this weekend, she will be able to return home. I will keep everyone updated as much as possible. Any ideas or info on post op care and recipes, that would be great... [email protected] or [email protected] THANKS TO ALL 0;)

***ANGEL*** I went to visit Anne yesterday...was there from noontime (approx.) to about 9:30 pm. She is feeling better, however, the pain is still there. Most of the time it is at a tolerable level, but she's had some "spells" where the pain is just too much. The nurses are taking excellent care of her. Still nothing on the xrays for results...hopefully the doctor will speak to her about those today. Let's pray that the pneumonia is either not there or at a degree that the antibiotics can take care of quickly. As it looks right now, she will be in the hospital until at least tomorrow...Friday. Anne is becoming use to the G Tube and pushing the gatorade into her with the tube. Phone calls are more than welcome, as well as visitors. If you need the number, email me at [email protected], I will be happy to give it out that way. :) She is in Maine General Medical Center, Room #356. Thanks to all, once again! Anne...You're doing well...wishing the speediest recovery. 0:)

***ANGEL*** As of yesterday, 3/12, Anne was doing better, but in some degree of pain. She is up to taking in 3.5 oz of water per hour! :) Going to go in to visit her today. There is a slight touch of pneumonia in one of her lungs. The doctors took xrays and by today, hopefully, we will know the results of those. Looks like they will be keeping her there until at least the end of the week due to the pneumonia. Will keep everyone posted as much as possible. Phone calls are ok again. Thanks again for all your wishes, prayers, and support. 0:)

***ANGEL*** Hello everyone. Anne is doing much better now. She has been moved out of the Critical Care Unit and back into recovery. :) Anne has been up and walking a bit today. She was more alert and talkative today as well. :) Back on the road to recovery...and picking up speed. :) She also has her own private room. The room # is 356. She will be in the hospital at least two more days...it all depends on how she recovers from here. She is doing really well so far. :) :) Don't hesitate to email me for any updates, as well.
