Hey there Erica! I'm soo glad to see your doing well! I'm doing real good too. I see we have/had similar side effects.... icky gas! that's been the thing that was hurting me the most. Since I started the Protonix it has subsided quite a bit plus gas-x. Your post op experience sounded scary and waiting as long as you did for a room was just not right. From what I remember I went right from recovery to my room ( I think!) I was really groggy. All together, I thought the service at Memorial was wonderful! Congrats to you and I hope to see ya soon! My post op appointment is 6-6 at 9 am. Please take care and good luck to you!

Hey there! I got home on Sunday! Thank you for your warm regards. Feeling good for the most part, there are times that are not soo fun but overall I believe this is one of the best decisions you and I will have ever made. I wanted to letcha know that the nurses, aides, and other staff at Memorial Hospital are absolutely wonderful. They really care and are happy to assist whenever possible. I wish you much luck and comfort as you start your journey tomorrow! I hope to either meetcha at the post op class or support group meetings! Please take care and God bless you! :)

You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery .
