Hi, Hill........I love your comments pre-op. We are praying for a quick recovery for you. Please post soon about how you are doing and your experiences. I, too, will be in PV for surgery with Dr. Joya on 12/12. I am looking forward to joining you on the bench. Best regards, Sue H.

Congratulations on a successful operation, Hillary. Who's the rock star now? Anxious to hear from you. Enjoy the rest of your time in PV--there's snow in the forecast for Seattle. Yes, SNOW.

Hillary-- It should be about 85 degrees when you arrive in PV, a welcome change from the wettest month ever in Seattle. I encourage you to come up with a novel metaphor about the change-in-climate/change-in-life. Breathe deeply before and after. It'll help you prepare and help you recover. In the meantime, your cheering section back home awaits your good news and offers you best wishes for a safe trip. --joel
