I just spoke with Michelle and she is doing great. She had surgery on yesterday, June 27, 2001. Michelle had the lap RNY. She had her leak test today and everything was fine. She is drinking water and expects to drink some ensure later this evening. Congratulations Michelle!!!!! I am so happy for you. Belencia

Congratulations...you're almost there. I live just outside Charlotte and will be having my surgery at CMC. I hope to be joining you on the other side by August 1st. God will be with you!

Michelle, it's almost here!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for you!!!! Everything will be wonderful, you're in very capable hands! Do what the nurses tell you to and remember that walking after the surgery actually makes the pain go away, at least for a little while! I'll be there Wednesday to check on you!!!
