Has anyone had to go through an External Review Organization?
My appeal was denied and now I have to go through an External Review Organization to get approved. Anybody out there ever heard of such a thing? — cp2639 (posted on October 29, 2002)

I has to go through the same thing! I was denied by Kaiser (CA) and I had
to get an IMR (Independant Medical Review) from the California Department
of Managed Health Care. It wasnt to terribly bad, and the best thing is i
won! They overturned Kaiser's denial. Good Luck!
