I have a hernia...

my question is if you have Tricare will they pay for the tummy tuck while doing the hernia repair? I heard they will but wanted to know for sure    — Catherine B (posted on October 17, 2003)

Catherine, while I do not have Tricare insurance. My surgeon stated that if you do have a hernia the insurance companies will pay for it's removal along w/ the TT. I would call your insurance company and find out for sure. That is the only way you will know what THEY will/will not cover.
