Question:
I am 4 wks po from Plastic Surgery and have fluid sloshing around inside

I had a torso lift 4 wks ago. When I lay down I can feel and hear fluid bubbling and swishing around inside. I feel like a water bed.    — Gail O. (posted on July 12, 2004)

the first two drains came out after 1week. Another after 2 1/2 wks and the last at 3 1/2 weeks.

Possible seroma, sweetie! Get back to your PS ASAP. It may have to be aspirated...if not, it can get infected.

Agree. If you haven't already, call you PS. He's going to probably tap the fluid (put a needle in it and drain it) so be prepared. I understand it is NOT painful. Stay away from sodium and alcohol-they cause retention that takes forever to resolve post PS. Diane N www.WeightlossSurgery.ws

I am 2 weeks out and have the same thing. It may be seroma. I am going to Ps tomorrow to get aspirated (drained) call your PS asap.
