i had the gastric bypass surgery. i had it about 5 years ago now. i had several complications after the surgery, i had a really bad infection, my incision opened up, i had a tube in for weeks. i never got to the exercise part, i was basically down for over 10 weeks. i was eating the soup, and jello. i threw up alot at the beginning. i still throw up almost daily. i wanted to get my jaw sewn up but doctors won't do it as i throw up so much.

You need to contact your surgeon and set up an appointment with the nutrionist and the pysch doc. Something definitely went wrong, but only these experts can help you now...

Hi! the only thing I can think of is to contact your dr. Myabe a revision would help?? I hear often in support group that after the 1 yr mark, or after you have acheived your goal that dieting is key. After the 'honeymoon" period ends we are like every dieter out there, except we have altered our bodies. But we still need to exhibit restraint when it comes to old eating habits . I hope you find the answers you are looking for. Hugs, Kim
