Has anyone had open rny surgery with medicare and medicaid

I am not sure about your state however I had surgery on Jan 18th 2002 and
had Medicare and Medicaid. I had no problem getting approved even tho my
BMI isnt 40. I was approved in 4 days and 2 of those were weeksnds. It is
my understanding that medicare doesnt go thru a "approval" status
but if you meet the criteria then you are automatically approved. GOOD LUCK
