There are lots of ways to incorporate hot/warm foods in your mealplan. When I was newly postop I coudln't tolerate anything cold. It hurt. Take a couple of ounces of water, barely warm, mix up some chocolate protein powder with it until it's all mixed in and then add 8 ounces of skim milk heated to just BEFORE boiling. Hot Cocoa! Add a teaspoon of decaf instant coffee and you have Hot Mocha. Take 4 ounces of tomato juice mix with 4 ounces of water. Take a couple of ounces of this and mix with 1 scoop unflavored protein (I used to get mine at GNC). Warm the rest up to just BEFORE boiling. Mix, season with Old Bay Seasoning, top with a little grated parmesan cheese. It's close to tomato soup. As long as you mix the protein with cool or barely warm fluid first, and then make the rest not quite boiling, the protein should remain stable. Good Luck!

Have you heard of UNJURY? It comes unflavored, and many people tolerate it well. They also have a chicken soup flavor. You can find it online at unjury.com

UNJURY(R) Unflavored has no added flavors. And in some beverages, it "disappears" from a taste point of view...95% for some, 100% for others. But it is impossible to have a protein with absolutely zero taste. So for example we recommend *not* putting it in just water. Rather, beverages such as fruit flavored Crystal Light are a good choice. And everything you try is guaranteed. Kind regards Jerome UNJURY (R) Protein

You could check out Isopure products at GNC. I believe one of them is flavorless.

Undenatured whey protein is the best, and it is not exposed to high heat while being minimally processed. If you do get the highest quality protein like that, you will want it very warm, not hot.

BeneProtien is unflavored, but my experience is that even unflavored things have a flavor. I'm not sure who but I know there is at least one company that makes a chicken broth protein mix.
