Well I had lab band surgery on 6-6-08 and I have only lost 20 lbs so you are ahead of me. When I was not losing, I cut out all the carbs and just focusd on protein. I am still on the induction part of the Atkins diet. I plan on being on this for a total of 2 weeks to see if that will jump start my weight loss. You didn't say how much you weighed to begin with. That could make a difference too. Good luck in finding that sweet spot that will alert you to stop eating but won't make you throw up all the time. Susan

If you are feeling the food "slidedown" that is normal. If you are getting nauseaus that is not. Remember small bites, chew to mush, protein first. Stay away from bread & pasta as they "goo" and clog the stoma. Stop when you get your signal, for many it is a hic-cup. I have heard of some that their eyes or nose water. As far a weight lost 1-2 lbs a week is considered healthy weight loss & right where you should be. Often right after a fill I loose 3-4 lbs a week for a couple weeks then slow down. By the time I'm ready for a fill & can get in, it's been a couple weeks with no weight loss so it averages out. Donna Lap-band 4/19/07
