tricare approved plastic surgery?
Has anyone with tricare insurance got approved for plastic surgery after weight loss surgery? — Julie Twigg (posted on March 8, 2008)

I called them and they will cover "medically necessary "TT. The
rep told me he woould send me copy of tricare manual but he did not. I,
too, would like to hear from someone out there who used them and posted
message on PS forum.

Hi Julie, I am a tricare wls surgery patient. They were excellent with my
wls surgery, but I fought unsuccessfully with two additional reviews and
challenges, to get a tt with tricare. My husband switched to his current
work coverage (we are retired), and BCBS was excellent in covering me.
Having said that, I also have a friend that had a hernia repaired and got
her tt paid through tricare because of the hernia. It can happen, and
while one person choose to approve my friend, another denied me and refused
to budge. it is all about who you get. Be sure your data is accurate,
have every rash or things that can contribute to saggy skin issues logged
by your physician. Go in every time, get it logged and after six months or
so, then request the tt. You have a chance, but don't hold your breath. I
used spandex for a long time. I love my tt, but it is a huge recovery, so
