Coulld someone help me to change my avatar on my page?
I've tried to upload a photo from my computer and I was told that the file was too large. Please help! Could I scan a photo to my page from my scanner? — newrules (posted on April 27, 2008)

you can make your jpg photo smaller by going to www.shrinkpictures.com.
Thats how I did it on advice of someone else on this message board, its
easy, and believe me, I am computer stupid, so if I can do it, I am sure
you can!

I too was unable to upload my photo for my avatar with the same message. I
sent my photo to the IT department and asked them to upload it as I
couldn't get it to work. I can't remember who specifically, I called the
main info number.

If you have microsoft picture manager, you can open up the picture file and
type in the exact size it asks for, save it and then open that on the
avatar. 310-367-8404. Call me if you need me to walk you through it.

It's completely free...Register and upload all your photos you want to use
in post or you want to share with her people. At this site, you can edit
your photos, including making avatars, cropping and even fixing red eyes.
Then you can copy the HTML code and paste in any post or on any web site!
It's awesome! AND FREE! I use it too!
