Why would you want to? That's what landed us here in the first place. My guess is, you stretched your pouch. Bigger pouch, more food, pounds go back on.

A couple of ideas. The most benign is that you lost enough in the two weeks that you are loose again. More likely is that the two weeks of vomiting caused a slip or dilation. It's never advisable to have that much pb'ing. Please call your bariatric practice and consult with one of the nurses. If it is a slip or a dilation, if treated early it can possibly resolve without additional surgery and you can be back on the weight loss track in a relatively short period of time.

Same thing happened to me and now I no longer have a band. NEVER throw up with the band. Mine was either too tight or too loose in the last 6 months I had it and on 6/26/10 had to have Emergency surgery to have it removed. I was in the hospital for 6 days. LOTS OF PAIN!

Strange that you would need a fill after two years, unless you have a leak in the band or port. It really does sound like the vomiting caused a slip, (this means stomach slipping up through the band, not that the band has slipped.) So yes, the pouch is larger and you can eat more. Taking the fluid out of the band temporarily will allow the stomach to fall back down through the band and you will be fine. Then the band can be retightened. See your surgeon immediately! If not corrected this way, you will need a surgery to remove the band. This happened to me, and I gained a great deal of weight before I was healed enough to have corrective surgery. Best of luck to you, my friend!
