when do they take out these drains?
At what amount of drainage do they take these drains out? my right one has stopped draining and my left is slowing down alot. I just had the skin removed from my belly wednesday. — christy_voelker (posted on May 8, 2011)

I am still 6 months out of have my skin removed so I really don't know I
guess it depends. Give your surgeon's office today. But I would like to
know how you feel? How was it right after surgery? GL

I had hernias repaired 3 weeks ago and they took out the drainage tube a
week later.

mine came out in 6 days, i would call your doctor to often its you that
have to manage your care, they will always have a patient to take care of
and they dont know or remeber you unless you call back.
