Question:
What is the difference between pureed foods and soft foods?

From my two week liquid diet, I graduated to soft foods. My nut didn't say to puree anything but I have been doing so.    — bikermama (posted on May 29, 2008)

Pureed foods is anything you run through a food processor and add liquid to allow it to be something you can taste but is goes through your pouch. Soft foods is what you get in the next stage, like cooked vegatables that you chew and then swallow. There is noting to chew after you puree foods. You can take tuna and low fat mayo to make a pureed food. Add a little chicken broth to it with some salt and pepper, and maybe a small amout of pickle juice to give it more flavor. Best of success to you.
