Question:
Has anyone had problems with Pacificare approving a TT...?

I'd like to know if anyone has had any problems being approved for a TT, Abdominoplasty, or breast lift with Pacificare. Do they cover any or all of these? What about brachioplasty and an inner thigh lift? Are these covered for redundancy and/or for medical necessity...such as for rashes, infections, etc...?    — Carin S. (posted on October 2, 2002)

I have PacifiCare HMO Colorado, I was told by a representative, that they will only cover a TT, if you have many documented rashes and it is found to be medically necessary. Thigh lifts, breast lifts, and arm lifts, are considered cosmetic, and not covered.
